Our Story
We stayed at a lovely flat in Wapping booked through AirBNB. Our host, Hristina, was very accommodating about meeting us late and showing us how everything works in the flat. The flat was a perfect size for a family of four for a week-long stay. The neighborhood was nice, just a mile walk to the London Bridge and Tower of London, and conveniently located near an overground station with easy connections to anywhere in London.
While in London, we were total tourists, and even though we had both been to the city before it was a first for both of our kids. It is funny how something you've seen before can seem new to you when you get to experience it with your children. There is something about London that the kids really loved, and in fact by the end of the week they both declared that they love it more than New York City.
